In addition to membership, the Orange County Audubon Society is supported by your donations, bequests, and volunteering. Yes, we need financial support to maintain our sanctuaries, and we also need you to join a trail clearing team or share your bird watching photos and expertise. Yes, we need financial support to send out our newsletters, and we also need you to respond to conservation petitions and call your representatives to be aware of conservation efforts. Right now, our conservation committee and publication committee need activating. You can step up and make a difference with your efforts, your donation, your actions.

Membership in our chapter is $20.00 a year and entitles you to our Orange Owl newsletter, currently published quartely and including a list of our scheduled presentations & field trips; subscription to our email blasts & updates about upcoming programs, field trips and conservation efforts. Your membership is essential to maintain our five sanctuaries (which are open for you to visit) and supports our educational and conservation efforts. Please include your name, home & email addresses, phone number, and any special areas of interest to you with your check. Newsletters are emailed unless a paper copy is requested. Membership in the National Audubon Society is $20.00 a year and includes our newsletter as well as the beautiful National Audubon magazine four times per year. If you are a first time subscribing member, please mail your check made out to National Audubon Society to our address above. We forward it for you with a special form in order to have your membership listed on our roster and for OCAS to receive a credit of your first year membership fee. This works only the first time and we appreciate the effort. You may continue with renewals to the National directly.
